As part of the public University of California system, Berkeley Haas is one of the few top business schools that lets veteran executive MBA students take the greatest advantage of Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits.
Depending on qualifying length of service, veterans can obtain funding for up to 100% of resident assessed tuition & fees, a monthly housing allowance, and an annual book stipend.
The Post-9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33) provides benefits to veterans who served in active duty for the United States since September 11, 2001. Veterans receive a percentage of resident tuition and fees based on length of qualifying service and must have served at least 36 months to receive 100% of the benefit. A housing allowance and book allowance is also provided based on length of service.
If you qualify for 100% of the benefit, the entire cost of fees for the MBA for Executives program will be covered by the VA. Please contact us if you are a veteran so that we can help with any benefit processing.
Additionally, Berkeley Haas is proud to offer U.S. military service members (active duty and veterans) an application fee waiver:
Veteran executive MBA students at Berkeley Haas may also take advantage of the VA's Yellow Ribbon Program, which offers a matching fund option for U.S. military veterans who served at least 36 months, and qualify for 100% of the Post- 9/11 GI Bill benefit. The program provides funding for any gap in tuition and fees not already covered by the VA or other fee-specific award.
