Why Admissions: When I took the Myers-Briggs assessment in MBA school, it said one of my perfect fit jobs was higher education. I laughed it off as my goal at that time was brand management. Little did I know that I’d spend the majority of my career in higher education, particularly admissions, and that I’d love it. One of my favorite parts of admissions is getting to know the students – they are such interesting, diverse, and motivated individuals – and watching their tight-knit community form. I feel so lucky to be a small part of their journey. And, as a former brand manager, I’ve found that it’s always much easier to sell/represent a product you really believe in.

Why Admissions: I transitioned to higher education after a career in Marketing / Brand Management. My favorite aspect of Admissions is meeting passionate individuals who aspire to drive meaningful change in the world. It is incredibly rewarding to admit future leaders who embody Haas's Defining Leadership Principles, knowing they will leave a positive mark on business and society. Believing deeply in the mission of Haas fuels my passion and enjoyment for this work, and I feel privileged to play a role in shaping the next generation of leaders.

Working in Admissions provides me the opportunity to identify, recruit, and select business leaders who have this passion. Through its Defining Leadership Principles, Berkeley Haas changes the lives of business leaders by providing them skills and tools to inspire change within their organizations.
