Jess Sinir

Class of 2027
Industry: Biotech/ Life Sciences
Function: Business Dev and Sales

With 15 years in healthcare and biotech, I’ve dedicated my career to accelerating life-saving treatments from lab to patient. As a founding member of GRAIL and now working at N-Power Medicine, I work to de-risk drug development and shorten timelines for critical cancer therapies. While I’ve built deep expertise in my field, I’m pursuing Berkeley’s EMBA to expand my leadership capabilities and gain a holistic understanding of business operations beyond my technical background. This program represents an exciting learning journey that will build my confidence as an executive leader. My goal is to leverage this growth, both professionally and personally, to lead operations at a large biotech organization while setting an example of lifelong learning for my children.

Industry: Energy, Investments, Nonprofit Leadership
Function: Executive Leadership, Strategy, Fundraising

After nearly three decades leading multi-billion-dollar businesses at Shell across the Americas, Europe, China, and Australia, I decided to retire and pursue new ways to learn, give back, and grow. I am currently focused on entrepreneurship and philanthropy as a board member of Galileo Vision and an active supporter of Blood Cancer United, where I help advance fundraising and advocacy for cancer research and patient care.

As VP of Admissions for the Berkeley Haas EMBA Class of 2027, I am passionate about connecting with prospective students and helping them discover how Haas can shape both professional and personal transformation.

Outside of school, I enjoy marathon running, travel, and family time in Texas.
