The Career Management Group at Berkeley Haas is your strategic partner in career planning, whether you see yourself advancing in your current field, changing careers, or launching a venture.

We provide coaching and tools for your next move—and for a lifetime of leadership opportunities and impact.

Individualized Career Services

As an EMBA student, you work with a career management team specifically focused on career development for executives. They partner with you on how best to leverage your experience, round out your knowledge and skills, and craft a compelling story about where you’re headed and why.

These personalized services are available to you year-round and on evenings and weekends and include unlimited advising sessions for clarifying goals and for career planning, resume writing and interview preparation, and some executive coaching sessions for workplace issues.

Supporting the Next Stage of Your Success—for Life

We know that over the arc of your career, the ways in which you'd like to have impact evolve, as do your skills and your passions. That’s why all of our career services are available to you for the rest of your career.

A Curriculum and Career Services that Connect

Together the MBA for Executives Program Office and the Career Management Group help you identify the curricular and co-curricular opportunities that lead to your goals, be it an elective such as Global Strategy or Tech Innovation, a startup or venture capital competition offered by the Berkeley Haas Entrepreneurship Program, a guest speaker at the Center for Social Sector Leadership, or a connection made through the multi-disciplinary Berkeley Energy & Resources Collaborative.

High-level networking that yields insights and opportunities is also part of your EMBA curriculum; the program’s five field immersions give you meaningful access to founders, venture capitalists, and industry and government leaders.

EMBA Career Workshops and 24/7 Tools

A series of specialty seminars and workshops covering topics such as personal branding, business etiquette, and networking help prepare you for a variety of professional situations. You can also access tools online any time, including the school’s CareerNet website, and the Haas Alumni Network (HAN) database.

Networking Opportunities

We work with EMBA students in forming affinity groups based on career interests, such as entrepreneurship or sustainability, and support those teams with advising and alumni connections.

Additionally, MBA Career Management and industry clubs organize job fairs and on- and off-campus recruiting activities for all MBA students, ranging from corporate presentations to more informal events, including industry firm nights, corporate visits, alumni mixers, and career panels. You'll also find a robust calendar of events that connect you with alumni and students from other Berkeley Haas programs.

Lifelong Learning for EMBA Alumni

As an alum of the Berkeley MBA for Executives Program, you receive lifetime auditing privileges at Berkeley Haas. These allow you to continually renew your business education, gaining new skills, refreshing existing ones, and continuing to build your network.
